It is with great sadness that the family of Russell Dennis announce his passing on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, at the age of 75 years. Russell leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Shirley Dennis; children: Michael (Jean) and Michelle (Clayton) and grandchildren: Marcus, Julia, Brady, Taylor and Shawn, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks are extended to the extraordinary staff in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. Cremation will take place on Sunday, July 2, 2017. A celebration of life will take place at the family home at 16 Hillcrest Road in Corner Brook on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2 - 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Russell's memory.
