ELISABETH BERNSTEIN (Teutenberg)
February 26, 1904 - March 31, 2011

Elisabeth, a long time resident of Welland, Ontario and Ladner, BC, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at the remarkable age of 107.

She was born on February 26, 1904 in Bruhl, Germany and moved to Canada at the age of seven, with her parents and 4 siblings. They settled in Port Robinson, Ontario, where she met her husband Maurice Bernstein (predeceased 1977). They had two wonderful children Albert (Rosemary) and Irene (Jerry Kerr, predeceased 1959).

At the age of 99, Elisabeth moved to Ladner, and lived the rest of her years with her daughter Irene and husband Lee Davidson, who took incredible care of her until her last day.

She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Kim Kerr (Jane), Karen Kerr, Brian Burns (Maureen), Kathy Doey (Brad), and extended grandchildren Donovan Davidson (Janet), David Davidson (Joanne), Jacqueline Davidson (Ken Cooke), Timothy Davidson (Helga), Peter Davidson (Kirsten), and especially missed by her great granddaughters Jessica and Meagan as well as Bryce, Laura, Robyn, Scott, and great great grandson Jameson.

A special thank you to all the caregivers in Ladner and Tsawwassen, especially Dr. R. Davidson and Dr. J. Yu, for not only your care and understanding, but your kindness towards giving Elisabeth a long and healthy life.
