Celebration of Life
A gathering of friends of the late Philip Arthur Hicks (1921 - 2017) is planned in order to celebrate his long and eventful life which ended peacefully on January 20, 2017. Philip was a landscape architect, arts writer and also wrote regularly on gardening. This informal event will take place on Thursday, July 13 in Tors Cove, kindly sponsored by the Five Islands Art Gallery, where we will meet at 2 p.m. If weather permits, we will proceed later in the afternoon to say goodbye to Philip outside in natural surroundings, as he wished. All are welcome.
