Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, April 11, 2011, Mr. Maxwell Pollett of Bay Roberts, aged 83 years. Predeceased by parents Bramwell and Margaret Pollett (nee Littlejohn); wife Albertha Pollett (nee Green); sister June (William) Higdon; brothers: Gerald and Charlie Pollett; sister-in-law Leona Pollett. Leaving to mourn sons: Douglas (Linda) Pollett, David (Sheila) Pollett; daughter Christine (Lawrence) Pollett Parsons; brothers: Harold Pollett, Roy (Jane) Pollett; sister-in-law Lillian Pollett; eight grandchildren: Heather, Darryl, Andrew, Michael, Stephanie, Meghan, Jeremy, Jacob; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at The Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 10-12 Noon. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts Wednesday 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Thursday 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. from Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts. Interment n the Salvation Army Cemetery, Coley’s Point.
