Peacefully surrounded in the love of his family on Thursday, July 6, 2017 of Joseph A. Farrell of Charlottetown, formerly of St. Georges, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Eileen Farrell (nee McCabe) and dear father of Pearl (Bruce) Rundle, Joey, Charlene (Kenny) Flanagan, Ernie (Sue Anne) Farrell, Brenda, Mary Lynn (Herb) Mahar, Lisa (Doug) Cutcliffe and Mike (Sue) Arsenault. Dad is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mark, Amy, Kali, Kenny, Kyle, Alicia, Michael, Stephen, Christopher, Melissa Sue, Mark, Matthew and Christine; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Cathy) Farrell; brother and sister-in-law, Don (Pearl) Fitzpatrick; many nieces and nephews, and special friend Liona Van Westerneng. He was predeceased by his parents William and Margaret (nee MacLean) Farrell and his brother James Augustus Farrell. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
