Passed away suddenly following a brief illness, at Health Science Centre, on Friday, July 7, 2017, Francis "Frank" Patrick Bishop, of Point La Haye, St. Mary's Bay, aged 77 years. Predeceased by Parents Frank and Bridget Bishop, infant daughter, infant granddaughter, brothers: Robert (Theresa), Walter (Mary), Anthony and John and parents-in-law Dennis and Stella St. Croix. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife of 48 years, Clara (nee St. Croix); children: Rodney and his children Chelsey and Chloe and their mother Nellie, Derek and his children Ryan and Hailey and their mother Cheryl, Todd (Jody), Colleen (Kurt Fleming) and their children Claire and Allie, and Calvin; brother Gerald (Rose); sisters Elizabeth (d. Phonse) Mulcahy, Mary, Gertrude (Jackie) Carey, Madeline (Bob) Simmons, Ann, Geraldine (James) Bishop and Genevieve (Pat) Butler; sisters-in-law Lena Bishop, Mary Bishop and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the St. Croix family and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Saturday, July 8, from 2-4 pm (Family Only); 7-9 pm and Sunday, July 9, 2-4 pm; 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 10, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
