Marion (Manship) Fitzpatrick, age 94, of Fredericton, NB, passed away at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday April 12, 2011. Born in Amherst, NS, on March 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Catherine (Downey) Manship and wife of the late George Fitzpatrick. Marion was a member of the Brunswick Street Baptist Church, in Fredericton and a member of the Ladies Auxillary, Branch #4 Royal Canadian Legion. Marion will be sadly missed by her two sons George (Brenda), and Stewart (Sue); three daughters Connie (James) Wood, Susan (Michael) Brown, and Ellen McIntyre; six grandsons; five granddaughters; one great grandson; two great granddaughters; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Clark and Donald.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday April 15, 2011 at 2 PM from Brunswick Street Baptist Church, Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. A reception to be held immediately following. Interment will be at a later date in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, NB. A Ladies Auxillary Service will be held 7 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
