The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, of Beth Cecelia McRae, of Alberton, age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. McRae. Born at Alberton on August 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Lottie (nee Kinch) Callaghan. Dear mother of Dr. Allan McRae, of Charlottetown, Arthur, of Alberton, and Marjorie (Bob Fraser), of Summerside. She is also survived by a step-brother, Eugene Callaghan, of O'Leary, as well as a sister-in-law, Barb McRae, of Kildare Capes. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Grace Praught, James, Earl, Beatrice Hancock, Larry, and Claude. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 4 p.m., Rev. Ralph McRae, Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
