8 September 1916-1 August 2009 - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Saturday, August 1, 2009, Dorothy Andrews, formerly of Gaultois, Hermitage Bay. Predeceased by her parents William Robert Andrews and Martha Garland; brother and sister-in-law William and Maude Andrews; sister Caroline and husband Jerry Rose. Leaving to mourn special niece Clarice Mills (Gerald deceased); nephews: Alick Andrews (Joan) and Walter Andrews (Regina); as well as, grandnieces: Clarice Masters and Colleen Mills; grandnephews: Alick Andrews Jr. and John Andrews and other great-great-grandnieces and nephews. A special thank you is extended to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home staff on 2nd floor south and the Pastoral Care Sisters. Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 10 a.m.- 12 noon. A memorial service will follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 12 noon, Thursday, August 6, 2009. Inurnment will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. No flowers by request.
