(Going Home, Together at Last) — Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 1, 2009, Dorothy Frances Evans, age 84 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Evans Sr; grandchildren: Baby Boy Walsh, 1973, Edward John Walsh, 1976, and Deborah Maria Walsh, 1977; brothers: Harold and Tom Earle. Surviving children: George Evans (Marg), Stanley (Bud) Evans (Linda), Hazel Delaney (Dave), Ruby Williams (Paul), Daphne Walsh (Art), David Evans (Sophie), Dorothy Carriere (Jack), Bessie Evans (Gord Brown), Debbie Foley (Kevin) and Kim Druken (Ron); twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Earle and Margaret Edison; also special friends: Anna May Druken and Bun Mercer; “wannabe daughter” Connie Yetman and family. Mom had a wonderful faith in prayer and the Lord, now she has gone to be with her maker and her husband for a final time, Stanley and Frances are together again. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 12 Noon-9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Funeral service to take place from the Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at The Field of Honor, Mt.
