It is with great sadness that the family of the late Una Marie McCarthy announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Brian (Vivian), Andre, Rick (Tara), Faustina Easton (Keith), Alta Waldorf (Ron) and Carol Parsons (Brian); her precious grandchildren: Sabrina (Toby), Tara (Scott), Deidre (Adrian), Kim (Anand), Shanda, Jennifer (Wes), Ashley (Scott), Jessica, Sarah, Andrea, Candy, Brad and Steven (Kayla); precious great-grandchildren: Grady and Avery; step-grandsons: Chris and Nathan Waldorf; step-great-grandchildren: Reese and Riley, from Saskatchewan; siblings: Fred, Gussie (Caroline) and Hughie Jones, Eileen Deschamp, Madonna Hynes, Gladys Donahue, Melinda Colbourne (Ross), Doris Roberts (Eddy), Pauline Fewer (Nat), Hilda Ray (Mel) and Sylvia Hulan (Larry); sisters-in-law: Joy Jones and Sheila Jones, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph (1995); her precious grandson Jody; daughter-in-law Joan McCarthy; parents Dorothy and Joseph Jones; brothers: Bill, Reg, Kevin and Lloyd and her companion Ed McCarthy. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Ave., with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
