Passed peacefully away on August 1, 2009, Lucy B. Watkins (nee White) in her 85th year at her home in Twillingate, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Leaving to mourn her five children: Clarence (Betty) and Arthur, Gander, NL, Roseann (Dave), Ethel (Calvin) Lorraine (Peter) of Twillingate. Eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother Max (Betty), Toronto, ON; brother-in-law Bill (Claudine); sisters-in-law: Rose, Evelyn and Ruby and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate conducted by Majors Collin and Jackie Abbott on August 4, 2009.
