It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Victor Parsons announce his passing on Saturday, July 22,2017 at his daughters residence in St. John's in his 85th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving children Paul Parsons (Pam Carrigan) and Jennifer Parsons (Dwight Humphries). His siblings Harvey (Alma) Parsons, Christine (Arch) Payne and Andrew (Hannah) Parsons. Brothers-in-law Edward Caines and Bryant Blanchard, sister-in-law Kay Parsons also a large circle of nieces,nephews, relatives and friends. Benjamin was predeceased by his wife Annie Mabel (nee Pittman), parents John Henry and Elsie Jane Parsons, siblings Henley (Beaulah), Edmund (Annie), Harold, Threphena (Tom) Crocker, Dorcas (Garland) Goosney, Viola, Angus, Julia (Pius) Keough, Bertha and Norman. Visitation will take place from St. Peters Anglican Church in Parsons Pond on Tuesday, July 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from St. Peters Anglican Church on Wednesday, July 26 at 2:00pm. with Canon Terry Rose officiating, interment following at the family plot.
