It is with great sadness that the family of Iram Moores of Port au Choix announces his sudden passing at Rufus Guinchard Health Center, Port Saunders on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the age of 63 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Helena; daughter Damaris; son Lorne Caines; granddaughter Noelle (pops' girl); step-mother Margaret; brothers; Abe (Virtue), Edmund (Doreen) and David (Amanda); uncle Abe and aunt Theresa Moores; sisters-in-law; Millicent Moores, Maralies Moores, Patricia (Greg) O'Keefe, Reba (David) Garner; brothers-in-law; Brian (Charlie) Noel and Roderick Noel; nephew Lucas (pops' boy); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by parents Eli and Larola Moores, brothers; Leonard and Clifton, parents-in-law Ella and Roderick Noel; brothers-in-law; Loman Noel, Bill Noel and Maurice Noel. Visitations took place at Fillatre’s' Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Saturday July 22nd and Sunday July 23rd. 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 24th at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Beckett Anglican Church Port au Choix with Rev. Clare Stewart officiating. Cremation followed as per his wish.
