COLEMAN, Eddie Kirkpatrick - 65, of Kentville, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville on April 13, 1945, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Helen (Cotters) Coleman. He had been employed with Standard Paving for several years and with Brookfield Foods. Eddie enjoyed the fellowship at Tim Horton’s with his many friends. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Patrick) Ueffing, Canning; Sherry Benjamin, New Minas; one son, Kevin, Kentville; three sisters, Florence Haggerty, Centreville; Rose (Robert) Adams and Charlotte Schofield, both of Kentville; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; former wife, Linda Lake. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Ward; a brother, Harry and two infant brothers, Hugh and Douglas. There was no visitation, by request. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Tim Bigelow officiating. A private family burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses.
