We, the family of the late Jane (Musgrave) MacLeod would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our family and friends who offered us love and support during the recent loss of our beloved wife, mother, and nanny.
To everyone who visited, made donations in Mom’s memory, delivered gifts of food or flowers and extended support through sympathy and Mass cards, telephone calls, prayers, and travelled distances, we will always remember your kindness.
To the many healthcare professionals: Dr. Greg Myatt and Janice, Dr. Harless, Dr. Aboud, and Dr. Anne Frances D’Intino, VON and Mom’s palliative care team, especially nurses Shauna, Linda, and Jackie – all of you went above and beyond to support Mom on her journey and helped her do so with grace and dignity. Thank you to Mom’s brother, Roddie, and family friend, Hammy MacInnis, for opening and closing the grave.
Thank you to Fr. Dwayne Devereaux for the beautiful funeral mass and all those who participated: pallbearers, readers, gift bearers, choir, altar servers, grandchildren Tim and Tara for the beautiful tribute to Nan, Bernie Paruch for his heartfelt solo “Heaven’s Garden”, Donnie MacLeod for his violin send off for Mom at the graveside, and the Lazarus committee for the lovely reception after the service.
Finally, to Kim Boudreau and staff at Chant’s Funeral Home, thank you for your kindness and compassion.
