We, the family of Susanna Crane nee LeFrense, regret to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and sister on Monday, July 31, 2017. Born in Isle Aux Morts, NFLD, she was the eldest daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Lillington) LeFrense. She was an active member of St. Albans Church.
Mom was best known for her fabulous meals and baking goods, especially her chocolate chip cookies which she shared with everyone around her. She also enjoyed senior socials and playing shuffleboard with her many friends. Mom would sit in her rocking chair and knit for hours making sweater sets for all the new born babies or dishcloths for anyone who wanted them.
Sue is survived by her children, Sue (Donald) MacPhee, Ruth MacNeil, Debbie Crane and Blair (Lori Butts) Crane, and special daughter, Darlene (Kerry) MacDonald; grandchildren, Shane, Darren, Shawna, Dean, Melissa, Justin, Emily and Declan; special granddaughter, Baby Blair; great grandchildren, Cody, Spencer, Emma, Rowan, Rylan, Raylynn, and special great grandchildren, Devyn and Nevaeh. She is also survived by sisters, Una (Tom) Seymour, Doris Hayman-Dennis, Betty (Charlie) Benoit, Mary-Ann (Frank) Durnford; brothers, John (late Edna) LeFrense, Randolph (Starla) LeFrense and Abbott (Ann) LeFrense, and sister-in-law, Dulcie Best.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, David; sister, Barbara Crane, and brothers, Clayton LeFrense and Hector Best.
Visitation will take place Thursday 7-9 p.m., and Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Albans Church with Rev. Reg MacDonald officiating. Internment at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to St. Albans Church.

Although we loved you dearly
