Theriault (Gordon), Phyllis Evelyn “Peggy” – age 80 of Lower Sackville. Passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 in the VG Site, QE II Health Sciences Centre, following her 3rd battle with lung cancer over the past 27 years. Born January 7th, 1937 in Alberton, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Eileen Gordon. Peggy was predeceased by a 6 year old son, William Paul in 1972 and recently by a sister, Jean Whitlock. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald; son, Stephen (Tracy); grandson, Connor, all of Beaver Bank; daughter, Michelle (Andrew) of Toronto and several nieces and nephews here in the Maritimes. At Peggy’s request her remains are being cremated and no visitation or service will take place. A burial will take place at a later date. Thanks to the Cobequid Emergency Staff, the Palliative Care Team at the VG Site for their outstanding care and to a special friend, Donna C. who was always there to help out in recent months.
