ATKINSON, Beatrice Rhoda –On Tuesday August 8, 2017. She was 87. Beloved husband of the late Keith Atkinson. Dear mother of Pearle Clarke (Donnie Dumond) (late Ian), Wesley Atkinson (Sarah). Sadly missed by 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Sydney. Survived by one brother John Shearer (Miriam) and one sister, Irene Wattie. Beatrice will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeaceased by her parents, Thomas and Helen (Chisamore) Shearer, one son, David and one sister, Norma Gilmour (late Eric). Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:45am. Funeral Service, Wednesday August 16, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am. Committal, Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.
