It is with great sadness that the family of the late Simeon Baker announce his passing on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Long Term Care in Corner Brook at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Glen (Donna), fur baby Missy; sister-in-law Frances Ferguson; and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce; parents Allan and Lizzy; brothers: Hubert, Alec, Ernest, William and Allan; sister Myrtle; sisters-in-law: Vida and Vera. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday and Friday at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Saturday at 2 PM with Rev van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
