1940 - 2009. Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Predeceased by mother Esther and father Maxwell. Leaving to mourn cousins: Dorothy Latreille, Susan Vardy, David Pike (Phyllis), Carolyn (Pike) Rompkey (Bill), Cecily (Bradbury) Hinton (Don), Natalie, Daphne and Tim Gillingham and devoted caregiver Millie Hedderson, also other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A reception will follow the cemetery service at Barrett’s Reception Lounge, 328 Hamilton Avenue.
