MAINVILLE, Firmin Leo "Fern" - Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Heartwood Long Term Care on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband for nearly 61 years to Fleurette (Menard) Mainville. Dear father of Sylvain (Janice), Denis (Claire) and Diane Urquhart (Bob). Sadly missed by six grandchildren, Joel (Anne-Marie), Pascal (Marie), Benoit (Kerri-Ann), Patrick (Josée), Evan, Liam and four beautiful great grandchildren, Zackary, Zoey, Alexis and Alyssa. Survived by two brothers Claude (Jocelyne), Yvan (late Ginette) and five sisters, Ghislaine Bourgon (late Florian), Huguette Besner (late Bruno), Solange Wathier (late Jean-René), Colette Mainville and Céline Blais (Claude). Fern will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Marie-Rose (Besner) Mainville. All Services are private. Cremation Services entrusted to the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME , 341 Pitt Street (across from City Hall) Cornwall. Committal, Nativity Cemetery at a later date.
