DEWAR, Mary Heather - Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Born November 11, 1943, she is the oldest daughter of the late James Edward and Catherine Verna Dewar (née MacRae). Predeceased by her first son Gregory Thomas Harland, her sister Catherine Irene Dewar and her brother John Robert Dewar. Dearly missed sister of Winston (Denise), Phyllis (Howard), Marjorie and Stewart (Susan). Survived by her daughter Heather Lynn Harland, by her sons James Andrew Irvine and Jonathan Edward Irvine, by three grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the MUNRO & MORRIS FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 2 pm-5 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew's United Church (The Round Church), Dalhousie on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery, Dalhousie. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
