It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Lewis announce his passing at the Glenbrook Lodge in St. John's, Monday, August 21, 2017, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, children: Sylvia Harnett, Loretta (Doug) Power, Deborah (Les) Lewis-Clarke, Gloria (Brian) Bennett, Dave (Fran) Lewis; 12 grandchildren: Johanna, Colin, Kristen, Stephanie, Adam, Rachelle, Stephen, Nancy, A.J., Tyler, Danielle, and Christopher; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty, Anne and Alice; brothers: Charlie and Joe. He was predeceased by wife Reda, son Daniel, parents John and Nora Lewis, son-in-law Alfred Clarke, brothers James, John, Sam, Mick, Fred and Ben, and sister Mary. Friends and family may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday, August 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 25th, at 10 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption, Stephenville Crossing. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
