1944-2017
Cyril, (Joe) formerly of Tack's Beach (Broad Cove), King's Island, passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on August 28, 2017. He was predeceased by his brother Berkley and mother Winnie. Left to remember him with love and joyful memories are his wife of 54 years, Nina (nee Smith); father Earl; brother Calvin (Olive); sister Judy; daughters Sheina (Darrell Knowlton) and Sherry (Larry Purdy); grandchildren David Purdy, Timothy Purdy (Stephanie), Melissa Knowlton and Jessica Knowlton; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's, on Tuesday August 29 to be followed by a brief time of remembrance with the family.
