Flora’s hands were seldom still; instead they were busy with crocheting and cleaning, baking and gardening. Rearing her family with Gordon on Bell Island they then moved to St. John’s in 1970. While it may be hard for some to imagine a world without Flora, a quote left in her note to us sums up the wishes of this remarkable woman: “When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to friends we know and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds.” To send a message of condolence or to sign the memorial guest book, please visit www.carnells.com.
