Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, after a long illness in the company of his much loved wife Carole (King) and his son Luke. Wayne (Mugs) Malone aged 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Ada Malone. Wayne enjoyed a full life with his wife and best friend Carole and their son Luke now living in Alberta. Born before Confederation, Wayne attended St. Bon's College and was a founding member of the Trailblazers. Both Wayne and Carole were basketball stars, they travelled widely and had a large circle of loving friends. He was welcomed as a cherished member of the King family and loved their family gatherings in Harcourt. He will be missed greatly by them all. Wayne lived and worked in Labrador City and Montreal before moving to Nova Scotia to set up a successful real estate business, making friends at every step along the way. The Malone siblings Greg (Mary), Kerry (Sheila), Beni (Marian), Susan (Blair) and their families have wonderful memories of their big brother who lived life to the fullest; fearlessly, generously and lovingly. Wayne will be memorialized by his family members across Canada. Donations in Wayne's name can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
