Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, April 15, 2011, Hezekiah Walters of Clarenville, aged 83 years. Predeceased by brothers Harold and Clarence; sister Vinie Vardy. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Effie of 58 years; daughters Judy, Cathy and Lori (Barry); sons Les and Perry; sisters Hilda, Helen, Edith (Pearce) and Dot (Roy); brothers Ted (Gertie) and Don; brother-in-law Tom; grandchildren Trina, Lesley, Brittany and Anthony; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Monday, April 18, 2011 from St. Mary’s Anglican Church with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory donations may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
