It is with great sadness that the family of the late Paula Elizabeth Sheppard announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 63 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons; Steve (Joanne) of Kippens, NL, and Gary (Maria) of Pickering, ON, her daughter; Lisa of Corner Brook, NL, grandsons: Scott (Tara) of Corner Brook, NL, Jeff of Corner Brook, NL, and TJ (Shawna) of Ottawa, ON, her granddaughter; Morgan of Corner Brook, NL, siblings; Ed (Edna) of St. John’s, NL, Fred (Betty) of Nanaimo, BC, Gladys Whelan of Baie Verte, NL, , Jim Watson, Gloria Watson, Pat (Andy) Hunt of Corner Brook, NL, and Joy (Jerry) Reid of Scarborough, ON, her sister-in-law; Myrtle of Surrey, BC as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband; Charlie, brother; Harris, sister; Alice (Ron), parents; Edgar & Elizabeth Purchase, brothers-in-law; Gid Whelan, and Ron Whitehorn, and family members George & Sadie Watson. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
