Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2011, Expedite Joseph Howard at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing at the age of 89 years. He was a former member of the Newfoundland Ranger Force and The Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Leaving to mourn his wife Alicia and one son, Dan (Barb) of Stephenville; three daughters: Linda (Roger) Holdright of Orleans, Ontario, Leona (Albert) LeGrow of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Darlene (Terry) Hawco of Stephenville; five grandchildren: Danielle Nettleton, Jason Holdright, Kim Maskel, Shelley Levy and Brandi Muldoon; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Ann Lawlor of St. John’s and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
