It is with great sadness that the family of the late EDWARD MILLER SR. of Marystown announces his passing at his home in Marystown on Sunday, August 20th, at the age of 95. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Kevin (Diane), James (Loretta), Ron (Sheila), Gord, Terry (Laura), Gerard, Brian (Mary); daughters, Agnes (Martin), Jessie Appleby (Edgar), Leona (John), Bernice (Wayne), Brenda (Phil), all of Marystown; sister, Anna Mae Brushett (101 years) of Little Bay; 33 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife, Alice Miller; 2 sons, Frank & Edward; daughter, baby girl Miller; brothers, John Thomas, Michael Joseph, Richard, Pius, Dominic & Vince; sisters, Margaret (Minnie), Sara Margaret & Anastacia; son-in-law, Wayne Appleby; great-grandson, Aaron Byrne.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 10:30 am. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown.

In Edward’s memory donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre or flowers gratefully accepted.
