Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, surrounded by her daughters on April 16th, 2011, Jean Tremblett, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband Edward (2005), daughter Donna (2010), parents, James and Anna Baker, brother Anson (2010). Leaving to mourn loving daughters: Diane Benson (Lorne), Thorburn Lake, Christine Duffett (Malcolm), Corner Brook, Patsy Tremblett DiNillo (Vince), St. John's, NL; grandchildren: Neil Anstey (AnnLynn), Lee Anstey, Kim Anstey (Blaine Stockwood), Brad Duffett (Karen Paor), Dineen Duffett, Ersilia DiNillo, and great-grandchildren Ashlan, Andrew and Drew; step-grandchildren and brother Fred, other relatives and friends. A lifelong resident of Bonavista until 2005, she resided in Smith Falls, ON, St. John's and most recently under the wonderful care of Alderwood Retirement Centre, Witless Bay. A wonderful and caring wife, mother and Nan, a great story teller, and a friend to all who had the honour of knowing her, she will be greatly missed. Resting at Straities Funeral Home, Bonavista 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 19th. Funeral service from Memorial United Church, Bonavista on Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Lookout Cemetery.
