Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, on April 17, 2011, Bernard Maxwell (Max) Benson, in his 88th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Doreen (nee Flynn); two sons: Ron (Dianne) and Neil (Shirley); one sister Shirley Hughes of New Glasgow, NS; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters-in-law: Helen, Phyllis, Violet and Vida; several nieces and nephews. Special friends Florence and Tam. Cremation to take place. No funeral service by request. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. No flowers by request.
