Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 18th, 2011, Joseph Ryan, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary; father-in -law Bill Squires; brothers: Gerry, Bob (Livie); sisters: Margaret (Mike) Haggerty, Catherine Clarke; brothers-in-law: John Walsh and Percy Chafe. Left with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend Shirley Lynn Squires and her sons: Mark and David Penney (Christa); Joe’s son Peter and daughters: Elaine, Janet, Joanne, Lisa, Beth and their families; mother-in-law Shirley Squires; brothers: Michael (Dorothy), James (Mary), Tom (Betty), BC; sisters: Mary Walsh, Lena Chafe, Sr. Callista Ryan (RSM), sister-in-law Patricia Ryan; brothers-in-law: Glenn (Penny) Squires, Clark (Chris) Squires, Scott Squires; sister-in-law Lori (Jean Robert) and their families. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m.to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 21st, 2011 from Corpus Christi Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Kilbride Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul, Corpus Christi Parish or the Canadian Cancer Society.
