Passed away suddenly at home with his wife, son and daughter-in-law by his side, Murray Michael Hayes at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gloria; son his pride and joy Murray and wife Gina and Gina's parents Roland and Amelia Vallis; brothers and sisters: Derm (Barbara) Hayes, Rochelle (Kevin) Dennis, Sharon (Phil) Gallant, Chris (Pauline) Hayes, Dave (Nina) Hayes and Dixie (James) Smith; sisters and brothers-in-law: Myra Hayes, Patsy Hayes, Audrey (Tom) Drake, Grave (Garland) Parsons, Linda (Fred) Wilcox, Rosalind (Peter) Michael, Glenn (Dorothy) McCarthy, Terry McCarthy and Calvin McCarthy; he was dearly loved by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret Hayes, brothers Tommy and Bernard Hayes, parents-in-law Bernard and Nora McCarthy. Cremation has taken place. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
