It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Veronica Gaulton of Castor River South announces her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center, Port Saunders on Wednesday September 20th at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn daughters; Rowena (Joe) Rumbolt, Laurie Gaulton (Oscar), Elaine (Eymard) Scanlon, Laverne Gaulton, Jane Gaulton, Eunice Gaulton, Selma Gaulton, Jane (Ben) Rumbolt; son Percy Gaulton; grandchildren: Edmund, Serena, Corey, Lorinda, Ian, Cameron, Wade, Mandy, Joanne, Jeffrey; great grandchildren: Alyson, Jada, Logan, Braden, Connor, Joan, Willow, Jonah, Lily, Marcus, Marissa, Keira, Max, Marshall; sisters; Cecilia, Nomie; sisters-in-law: Blanche Hughes, Imelda Coles Elizabeth Tatchell; brothers-in-law: Patrick Scanlon, John Rumbolt; as well as many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Ralph Gaulton; son Ralph Jr.; parents: George and Rebecca Tatchell; brothers: Edmund, Henry, Jerome, Ralph; sisters: Dorothy, Geraldine; sons-in-law: Aloysius, Ewan; brothers-in-law: Abe Rumbolt, Jerome Rumbolt. A funeral service was held at Queen of the Angels Church Castor River South on Saturday 23rd. September at 2:30 pm with Father Raj of Port au Choix officiating and interment followed at Bartlett’s Hr. cemetery.
