BOUDREAU, Yolande (née Bougie) – Mrs. Yolande Boudreau passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Boudreau. Dear daughter of the late Anna and Henri Bougie. She will be missed by her children Mark (Elaine) Boudreau, Lita Boudreau and Claudette Boudreau Rowland. Her grandchildren Jesse Rowland (Eri Yaegashi), Maressa (Justin) Durocher, Brian Rowland, Miles Rowland, Luke Nicol (Samira Saramo), Bret Nicol, Kate Nicol (Michael Pedri), and her great-grandchildren Azelia and Maeve Nicol, Penelope and Finnian Durocher and Hudson Pedri. Yolande is the dear sister of Marceline Bougie, Jean (Patricia) Bougie, Louis (Liane) Bougie and sisters-in-law to Lucille Bougie and Trudy Boudreau. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her infant son Luke Boudreau, her sisters Gertrude (William P. Grant) and Lorraine Bougie. Predeceased by her brothers Leo, Guy (Carmen and Mary) and Jacques (Joan). Yolande lived a long and fulfilling life, growing up in Lancaster as the eldest of nine children. She attended the Motherhouse and worked for the CNR in Montreal. She lived in Terrace Bay for 30 years and then moved to Cornwall for her last 39 years of life. She was widowed 20 years ago and has lived at the McConnell Manor for the last 5 and a half years. Yolande was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many. She was a fun loving, hospitable and kind woman. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Columbans Roman Catholic Church, 36 Fourth Street West, Cornwall on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 11AM. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Lancaster.
