The dearest friend, the kindest friend,
One of the best who God could lend,
Loving, thoughtful, gentle and true,
Always willing, a kind act to do.

The years may wipe out many things,
But this they’ll wipe out never,
The memory of those happy days,
Which we have spent together.

Till memory fades and life departs,
You live forever in our hearts.
