The death occurred suddenly on Thursday, August 6, 2009, of Trent Gallant, beloved partner of Jennifer Jardine, of Stratford and formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge, age 36. Trent was the well loved son of John Emile and Gaylene Gallant of Charlottetown and formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge; brother of Shawla of Charlottetown; and stepfather of Victoria and Stephanie. He is also survived by his grandmother, Elsie Gallant, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Trent was predeceased by his grandparents, Aubin Gallant and Emile P. and Ida (Gauthier) Gallant, and several aunts and uncles. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, August 9 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Monday, August 10, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine’s Church Cemetery.
