It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear loved one, Merrill Emberley, who passed away in Labrador City on October 3rd, 2017 at the age of 70. Predeceased by parents John and Sylvia (nee Janes) Emberley; father and mother-in-law William and Rita (nee Hickey) Evans; sisters-in-law: Jeanette and Janice. Forever loved and missed by his wife of 52 years Joan (nee Evans); children Glenn (Tina) and Annette (Steven); two grandchildren: Dylan Emberley and Darian Parsons; sisters: Rowena, Karen, Dawn, Wanda and Sherry; sisters-in-law: Judy, Joyce, Jackie, Joy and Jill; brother-in-law Gary; special niece Juanita (Michael); as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Visitations will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, October 8th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Monday, October 9th from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 9th at 2 pm. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
