DICK, DORIS ELAINE - At Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB on April 21, 2011, Mrs. Doris Elaine Dick, wife of the late Lloyd C. Dick formerly of L’Etete, NB. Born at L’Etete, NB on April 26, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Hibbard and Glenora (MacNichol) Hoyt. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by two sons; Darrell (Carol) Dick and Kendall (Linda) Dick both of Saint John, NB, four grandsons; Darren of Halifax, NS, Jerome (Tara) of Saint John, NB, Wesley (Nanci) of San Francisco, CA and Jason (Shelley) of Saint John, NB, one granddaughter, Jaime Dick of Saint John, NB, five great grandchildren; Cameron, Matina, MacLaren, Cabot and Olivia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband who passed away in 1990, Doris was predeceased by one brother, Ralph. Doris enjoyed to knit and cross stitch in her quiet time. She was a member of the L’Etete Christian Church and a past member of the OES Granite Chapter # 15, St. George NB.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2 pm from the L’Etete Christian Church, L’Etete NB with Rev. Gillis Mullen officiating followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. In Doris’ memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
