The family of the late art Lynk, extends sincere thanks to all who offered their support throughout his illness and subsequent death. Thank you to the staff of Taigh Na Mara for their compassionate care which allowed Art to feel “at home”. Thanks also to the many visitors from the church, the Legion, the Lodge and the community who brightened his days; and to all who reached out to us through visits and calls, flowers, sympathy cards, Mass cards and memorial donations to churches and other organizations. Thanks to the staff of Glace Bay Hospital for their care and to the Palliative Care Team for their guidance and attention to Dad’s needs. Special thanks to Rev. Carol Gillard for her visits and to Rev. Laurie MacCuish whose compassion, words of encouragement and beautiful prayers carried us through the most trying times; and to Rev. We will be forever grateful to Dad’s immediate family for the times they devoted to sitting with him: Elvira Naish and his niece Andrea; brother Bob and Helen; brother Ace and Dawn. While but a few are mentioned by name all are appreciated and remembered with gratitude and affection.
