It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Hamlyn announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 46 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Shelly, his son Matthew, his daughter Danielle, mother Pauline Murphy and step father Mike Murphy, brothers Dave Murphy of Corner Brook, Scott Murphy (Susan) of Houston, Derek (Shirley) of Corner Brook, Bruce (Michelle) of Corner Brook, mother and father-in-law Audrey & Bert Oxner of Dartmouth, NS, sister-in-law Donna DeCoste of Dartmouth NS, nieces; Allison, Haley, Maxine, nephews; Peter, Stephen, Brett, Hunter, Brandon, Ryan, Aiden, Patrick, great nieces; Kyla and Maddy, Ava Lynn, Olivia, great nephew Russ. He is predeceased by his (mom and dad) grandparents Bob & Eileen Hamlyn. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday August 8, 2009 from 7-9 p.m., and Sunday August 9, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday August 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Oakland United Church. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are gracefully accepted or a memorial donation may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
