It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myra Sooley announce her passing at her family residence on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the age of 65 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Eugene; her sons: Eugene (Julia), and Stephen (Nancy); her daughter Trina (Brian); 5 grandchildren; Seth, Shea, Ella, Katy and Liam; 3 brothers; Frank (Marilyn), Bruce (Deborah), Roy (Donna); 6 sisters: Marie (Don), Mildred (Ron), Wanda (Mike), Levinia (Jim), Allison (Paul), and Ida (Rod); sisters-in-law; Minnie (Mac), Lillian (Glenn); brothers-in-in-law: Frank (Minnie), Winston (Matilda); Aunt Mildred (Ben) as well as her many wonderful nieces and nephews, other relatives, all her wonderful sisters in Beta, Sigma, Phi and many other great friends. She is predeceased by her parents Pearl & Ray Locke. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rt. Rev. Percy Coffin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
