Passed peacefully away at the Long Term Care Centre, Carbonear, Annie Lewis, formerly of Grate's Cove, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Andrew on May 30, 1998. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are her children: Dora (Adrian) Hogan, Eugene (Sandra) Lewis and Vivian (Bill) Snelgrove; grandchildren: Audrey (Brian) MacLeod, Ruby (Ron) Burry, Donna Avery, Vanessa Snelgrove (Shannon), Andrew (Katie) Snelgrove, Andrea (Mike) Samson and Amanda Lewis (Eric); ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of relatives and many friends she has gathered in her 95 years, especially Raylene McDonald. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of the former Harbour Lodge and the Carbonear Long Term Care Centre who cared for Annie over the last five and one half years. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2 pm from Grace United Church, Grate's Cove. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Grate's Cove.
