The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, Eric Howard Fleming of Summerside, and formerly of Prescott, Ont., aged 64 years. Eric was born on March 26, 1945, in Halifax, N.S., to his late parents, Eric and Edith (nee Perry) Fleming. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Toupin) Fleming and loving father of Tom (Melody) and Denise (Mark) Dyelle, all of Prescott , Ont. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Teddie, Becky, Melissa, Katie and Chris, along with many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Survived by brothers Allan (Judy) of Souris, P.E.I., and Kenneth (Chrystal) of Halifax, N.S. Besides his parents, Eric was predeceased by father and mother-in-law, Adrian and Ada Toupin. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Monday, Aug. 10, then to St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors for a graveside committal service at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eric’s memory to his funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated.
