Bernard DesRoches
DesROCHES, BERNARD - 1950 - 2011 - Bernard DesRoches, 60, of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, April 25th, 2011 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton. He was married to Anne-Marie (Chiasson) DesRoches. Born in Moncton on August 31st, 1950, he was the son of Willie and Irma (Caissie) DesRoches of Cocagne. Bernard was a truck driver with Sunbury for numerous years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, his parents, his two daughters, Chantal Melanson (Derek) of Moncton, and Nadine Roberts (Hank) of Bass River Point, and his precious three grandchildren, Raistlin, Brandon and Venessa. He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Diane Goguen (John) of Ottawa and Linda Williams (Eddie) of Cocagne, two brothers, Maurille (Francine) of Cocagne, and Vincent (Murielle) of Saint-Antoine, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one granddaughter Stéphanie.
Visitations will be held at Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Thursday, April 28th, 2011 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Bernard’s memory donations can be made to the pulmonary or diabetes unit of the Dr Georges L Dumont Foundation.
