Margie, born March 17, 1941, died suddenly surrounded by loving family at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Oct. 22, 2017 while home to attend a family function.
A resident of Whitman, Massachusetts for the past 55 years, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Doris (Briggs) MacGregor, Glace Bay.
She is survived by husband of 55 years, Ray Mills formerly of Donkin; children, Judy, Tanya, Tracy and Shane; proud grandparent to nine grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (late Bill MacDonald), Ann Carmichael (Norm), Ethel Donahue (Robert), Kathy Moore (Al), Audrey (Scott Rayworth); brother, Fraser (Jane); sisters-in-law, Ruth, Pat and Gail; brothers-in-law, Robert and Jim.
Predeceased by daughter Kelly in infancy and in-laws, Fred and Mae Mills.
A family memorial service was held at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay on Oct. 24, 2017.
