March 5, 1931- April 24, 2011. Our darling mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday April 24, 2011, Irene Bessie Best at the age of 80 years, at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by infant son (July 1954), loving husband Frank (April 1988), parents, Arthur and Ella Janes, brothers Leslie Janes, Wallace Janes and Lawrence Deering, sisters, Melvina Janes, Mondella Burrage, and Mary Janes. Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories, daughters, Maxine (Pius), Karen (Don), Susan (Ferg); grandchildren, Stephen (Tina), Heidi, Justin (Melanie), Joshua (Jessica), Jeffrey; also furry grandchildren, Gracie, Nicky, and Bowzer; brothers, Fred, Harvey, Allan (Nina), sister-in- law Sherry Janes and a large circle of family and friends including a special friend, Mary Whelan. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Time and date to be announced. Funeral service to take place at St. Martin’s Church, Dunville. Interment at St. Martin’s Anglican Cemetery, Dunville.
