We're going home to see Mom today
To hear her voice and to see her smile
to sit with her and chat awhile
But our life goes on without her
And nothing is the same
We have to hide our heartache
When someone speaks her name
So to you who has a Mother
Cherish her with care
For you never know the heartache
Until she's no longer there
